Vickie Ja
co Cochran, 54, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on June 4, 2016 at her residence.
She was born on April 23, 1962 to Richard Lindgren and Peggy (Jaco) Jenkins in Houghton, MI. She graduated from Poplar Bluff High School in 1980 and later graduated from Three Rivers College. Vickie worked at Rowe Furniture for many years until the factory closed and Mid-Continental Nail as a customer service representative.
Vickie will be missed deeply by her family and friends. Her biggest accomplishment was being a mother to her three children and loving her family more than anything. That was proven by her devotion to them. She was a member and baptized at Grace Christian Fellowship Church in Poplar Bluff.
Vickie is survived by parents, Peggy Jenkins of Poplar Bluff; her father, Richard Lindgren of Houghton, MI; two daughters, Hannah and Harley Cochran; one son, Diontay Cochran all of Poplar Bluff; her ex-husband, Sam Cochran of Poplar Bluff, MO; one sister, Brenda (Gary) Trenkamp of Louisville, KY; one brother, Shawn "Rocky" Jenkins of Poplar Bluff, MO; two half-sisters, Carrie and Kelly Lindgren of MI; and special friend, Gary Davis of Poplar Bluff.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, E.W. & Flossie Jaco; one aunt, Wanda Fredricks; and her cousin, Michael Jaco.
The family would like to give special thanks to her “Earth Angels”; Kim Pyle, Gay Worley, Sherry “Scott” Graham, Tammy Kassinger, her special friend, Gary Davis, and many others.
The family requests memorials in her name be made to UCAN or Easter Seals Midwest Autism Support Group both in Poplar Bluff.
Visitation will begin at 5:30 on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Grace Christian Fellowship.
Memorial Services will be held at 6:30 in the Grace Christian Fellowship Sanctuary.
