Marion Carter, 79, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at her residence. She was born on May 17, 1937 to Franklin King and Bea Tanner in Gloversville, NY.  Marion worked as a RN for John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff until her retirement in 2003. Marion is survived by her three children, Jeff (Marilyn) Carter of Ringgold, GA, Leigh (Randy) Kirn of Cape Girardeau, MO, and John Carter; six grandchildren, Amanda Kelm (Dustin Maddox) of Dudley, MO, Kelly Kelm (Ernie Kon) of Jackson, MO, Jessica Carter of Poplar Bluff, MO, Madison Kirn of Cape Girardeau, MO, Taylor Kirn of Cape Girardeau, MO; and Mason Carter of Poplar Bluff, MO; four great-grandchildren, Ernie Kon, Trenton Maddox, Draven Ribbing, Kayden Kirn; and 5 brothers and sister. She was preceded in death by husband, Raymon Carter and her parents. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 18, 2016, from 6-8:00 PM at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff. Funeral services will be on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 10 AM in the Moore Funeral Service Chapel.  Burial will take place in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery. She was born on November 11, 1962 to Glenon R. and Lois (Shirley) Williams in St. Louis, MO. She graduated from Warrenton High School and worked as a Paralegal for St. Louis County. Joy is survived by two brothers, Bruce Williams of San Diego, CA and Gary R. Williams of Christiana, TN. JoAnne Spspainain, 79, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. She was born on October 23, 1936 to Thornton Robert and Gernelle (Colvin) Prather in Cape Girardeau, MO. She graduated from Cape Central High School in 1954 and Southeast Missouri State University in 1970 with her Bachelors in English.  She then taught English at Bloomfield High School for 10 years and then Three Rivers Community College for 18 years until her retirement in 2002.  On February 11, 1956 she married Jim Spain in Cape Girardeau, MO. JoAnne was a 50-year member of the P.E.O. and was president of the local KB Chapter from 1988-2000.  She followed in the footsteps of her mother and enjoyed playing with her local bridge club for many years where she made many close friends. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. JoAnne is survived by her loving spouse of 60 years, Jim Spain of Poplar Bluff; two daughters, Cynthia Spain (Mike Hagens) of Kansas City, MO, Melinda Hanaway of Leawood, KS; one son, Sam (Jody) Spain of Poplar Bluff, MO; four grandchildren, Logan Hanaway, Grant Hanaway, Nick Spain, and Marley Spain; two sisters, Judy Coffman of Appleton, WI and Jane Wirtel of Santa Fe, NM; numerous nieces and nephews. She had a special relationship with her sister-in-law, Sue Spain Ryan of San Antonio, TX and longtime family friend, Karen Jolly Miller, of Poplar Bluff.  She also came to love four special caregivers; Shelia Loyd, Gladys Drake, Pat Kinney, and Remona Byrd. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son-in-law, Tom Hanaway. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 1:00 until 2:30 PM at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following the visitation at 2:30 PM in the chapel. Burial will take place in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery. Robert (Bob) Alvin SteStewartwart, Sr., of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at his residence with his family surrounding him.  Bob is a child of God and made the decision to follow Jesus Christ as his personal savior. He was born on December 26, 1939 to Claude and Mabel (Franks) Stewart in Caruthersville, MO.  Bob graduated from Poplar Bluff High School in 1958 and attended Three Rivers College.  He married his high school sweetheart, Margaret Sullivan, on August 9, 1958. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.  Bob enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola items, cars, and antiques.  His fondest memories were times he spent with his father.  During the summer they would ride on the Coca-Cola delivery truck delivering sodas and learning about the rural areas (fishing holes) of Southeast Missouri.  Bob was a story teller and many nights the family would sit at the supper table listening to stories of his childhood.  He believed hard work never killed anybody and a bar of soap is cheap! Most of all he loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  He was extremely protective of his family and would go to great lengths to protect and serve them.  He taught his family to love, respect, and serve God and Jesus Christ.  He loved to read and study the Bible and spoke often of Jesus’s return. Bob is survived by his loving spouse of 58 years, Margaret; three children, Robert (Pam) Stewart, Jr. of Doniphan, MO, Tracy P. (Charlotte) Stewart of Washington, DC, and Dana (Mike) Dickson of Doniphan, MO; eleven grandchildren, Robert "Robbie" Stewart, III, Caleb (Michelle) Stewart, Colette (Rusty) Plumb, Mikera (Jay) Hemphill, Zac Dickson, and Kasie (Rob) Byrd all of Doniphan, MO; Chelci Stewart and Jessica Rushin both of Springfield, MO, Belinda (Dwight) Eversole of Huntsville, AL, Jared-David Dickson of Nashville, TN, and Sarah Rushin of Rolla, MO; seventeen great-grandchildren, Russ III, Minnie, Keitlynn and Keith Plumb, Elizabeth Hemphill, Bryce Hurt, Kelbie Byrd, Kenadie Lane, Kyndyll, Alexis and Carmen Dickson, Landon and Loghan Stewart, Dawson and Korbin Eversole, and Hayden and Braxton Rushin; his hunting buddy, Harry Whitworth of Republic, MO; and a group of young men whom he impacted their lives and he considered them to be his sons, Tony Goodrum, John E. Sloan, Monti Jameson, and Bill Turner. He was the last living child of his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his five siblings, Claude H. (Fredda) Stewart, Jr., Janiece (Carl) Moore, Aloma Colette Stewart, and Patsy Green who were all believers of God and Jesus Christ. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2016 at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m.  on Saturday, October 22, 2016 in the Moore Funeral Service Chapel.  Burial will take place in Mt. Zion Cemetery on W Highway. She was born on November 21, 1969 to Hayden and Lavena (Williams) Dixon. Barbie had a smile that lit up any room.  She loved spending time with anyone who would chat with her, laughing, and joking around. Her interests were doing crafts, cats, and drinking sweet tea.  She brought warmth and love to everyone who knew her and is loved by many and will be deeply missed. Barbie loved all the time she spent at SonShine and all who took care of her. Barbie is survived by her brothers Dwight (Ruth) Dixon of Poplar Bluff, Terry Dixon of Birch Tree, MO, Larry (Johnnie) Elliott of Birch Tree, MO, and Sam (Rachel) Elliott of Salem, OR; her sister Gakieta (Don) Rahe of Troy, MO; eight nieces, Kerry Hays, Amanda Hubbard, Misty Dixon, Tasha Gravitt, Rebecca Jackson, Breanna Dixon, Lacey Dixon, Katie Elliott; ten nephews, Clinton Dixon, Johnathan Dixon, Brian Dixon, Jeremiah Elliott, Jeremiah Dickson, Buzz Dickson, Tony Rahe, Scotty Elliott, Tony Elliott, Bear Elliott; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. Julie Anne Keekeelele, 66, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at her residence. She was born on March 9, 1950 to George and Marjorie (Ferris) Meister in St. Louis, MO.  She married Carvin Keele on September 25, 1969 in St. Louis, MO. Julie enjoyed life, her family, and friends.  She loved watching her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren participate in their sporting activities.   She was especially proud of her work with Butler County Community Resource Council and her co-workers.  She also enjoyed traveling, dancing, crocheting, and gardening.  She will be greatly missed by all. Julie is survived by her loving spouse of 47 years, Carvin; two children, Laura (Adam) Preston of Poplar Bluff, MO and Michael (Corey) Keele of Carmel, IN; six grandchildren, Amie (Justin) Parks of Poplar Bluff, MO, Carlee Eifert of Poplar Bluff, MO, Marjorie Preston of Poplar Bluff, Justin Eifert of St. Louis, MO, Kaiden Keele of Carmel, IN, Nixon Keele of Carmel, IN, two great-grandsons, Chase and Cason Parks; one sister, Jackie (Lou) Allen of St. Louis, MO; her aunt, Eileen Czarnecki, and one sister-in-law, Terri Uva of Los Angeles, CA. Roger Baldwin

Roger Woodard Baldwin, baldwin76, prominent businessman of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Roger, the son of the late Woodard and Frances Baldwin, was born on December 17, 1939, in Poplar Bluff.  After graduating from Poplar Bluff High School in 1958, he attended Westminster College and Arkansas State.  After receiving his business degree, he worked for Phillips Petroleum before returning to Poplar Bluff in the 1960s to work for Midwest Video.  He then worked for Tommy DiSalvo in the local Anheuser Busch distributorship.  In 1973, he and Harry Blackwell formed a partnership and purchased their first automobile dealership in Poplar Bluff, Blackwell-Baldwin Oldsmobile Cadillac.  Over the years, they acquired numerous dealerships in southern Missouri and northeast Arkansas.  In 2012, the partnership was dissolved and Roger along with his wife, son, and daughters started Baldwin Automotive Group in Poplar Bluff with the franchises of Ford, Lincoln, Toyota, GMC, Buick, Chevrolet, and Cadillac.  In addition to the automobile dealership, Roger began acquiring stock in First Midwest Bank of Poplar Bluff in 1975.  He remained very active in the banking business and was a long time board member of that organization. On the side, Roger refereed both basketball and football at the high school and college levels until the late 1970’s.  Through these ventures, he made and maintained many relationships in Southeast Missouri. Roger worked relentlessly over the years to make Poplar Bluff a better place for everyone.  In  2000, he was named Outstanding Citizen of the Year by the Poplar Bluff Chamber of Commerce.  Over the years, his public service included serving on the Park Board, the Poplar Bluff School Board, as president of the Westwood Hills Country Club Board, the local Housing Board, the Highway 67 Coalition, as well as being president of PB Industries.   During his tenure, Poplar Bluff saw much growth.  Briggs & Stratton came to town, the city golf course became a reality, and Highway 67 north and south of Poplar Bluff became divided highways and much safer. Roger is survived by his wife, Jan Cantrell Baldwin, whom he married in 1980 and their daughters, Andrea Baldwin Gregg (Trevor) and Kayli Baldwin Hyten (Chris) all of Poplar Bluff.  He is also survived by his son, Jeff Baldwin (Ashley) of Poplar Bluff, his sister Ruth Ann Baldwin Stovall (Laddie) of Springfield, Missouri, his grandchildren, Natalie Baldwin Cooper (Chase) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Beckett and Brayton Baldwin of Poplar Bluff, and a great granddaughter,  Harper Rose Cooper.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jan Elizabeth. Visitation will be held from 2  - 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, at The First United Methodist Church in Poplar Bluff.  A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 6, at The First United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Roger Baldwin Memorial Fund at First Midwest Bank of Poplar Bluff.  This fund will be used for the citizens of Poplar Bluff for various city projects. Clarissa “Chris” Kearbey, 87, of Poplar Bluff, passed awkearbeyay on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. She was born on August 29, 1929 to Robert and Clara Wissner in St. Louis, MO. She had a beloved Cockatiel named Precious. Clarissa is survived by three sons, Alvin (Sharon) Kearbey of Jonesboro, AR, David Kearbey of Poplar Bluff, MO, and Jeffrey (Amy) Kearbey of Ellsinore, MO; four grandchildren, Gina (James) Jackson of Jonesboro, AR; Tony (Natasha) Kearbey of Pineville, AR, Jaykota Kearbey of Ellsinore, MO, and Kyle Kearbey of Poplar Bluff, MO; and two great-grandchildren, Anna and Aliah Kearbey of Pineville, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents. Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 11:00 am at Harmony Cemetery in Ellsinore, MO. hoxworth-obit Our beloved Mother, Audrey Hoxworth, went to her heavenly home on December 5, 2016, surrounded by family after a brief illness. She was born on July 18th, 1931, to Charley and Myrtle Basinger in Clifton, Tennessee. Our Mother married the love of her life, Robert Carson Hoxworth, Sr. on August 18, 1948.  From this union, they raised five children; Robert C. Hoxworth (Karen), Randy C. Hoxworth (Susan), Phyllis A. Hansen (Bill), Ricky C. Hoxworth (Mildred) and Connie J. Funke (Tim). She was preceded in death by her husband on January 11th, 1995, and by two brothers, Jewell and Glenn and two sisters, Geneva and Alberta. She is survived by her five children and their spouses. She is also survived by grandchildren Meagan Tucker (Sam), Allison Funke (Jody), Matt Funke (Jenni), Bill Hoxworth (Karla), Michael Kachadorian (Gina), Curtis Hoxworth (Stacy), Tim Hoxworth (Christine), Stephanie Spaulding (Wynn), Dale Obermoeller (Laura). Audrey was also blessed with 25.75 great grandchildren (one on the way) and numerous nieces and nephews along with one adored golden retriever, Cooper. Mom worked at Kneibert Clinic for over 25 years and retired from there. She believed in doing a job well, had a strong work ethic and took pride in her work always. Mom loved her family and friends and would do whatever she could to help anyone. She enjoyed flowers,gardening and walking the Jr. High track for exercise. She also loved her soap operas. Her smile that lit up her face will always be cherished by her family and each and every person she touched. She will be missed very much until we see her again. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 7th, at 11:00 a.m. at Moore Funeral Service with the service following at 2:00 p.m. in the Moore Funeral Service Chapel with Donnie Emmons officiating. Robert “Bob” W. Nneeleel Sr., 60, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017. He was born May 9, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois. He served with the U. S. Marines and earned a degree in surveying from Three Rivers College.

Bob enjoyed watching the Cubs, Bears and the Blackhawks. He also loved golf. Survivors are his sons: Robert W. Neel, Jr., of Poplar Bluff; Anthony Neel, of Greenville: and a daughter, Tristin (Erick) Reed of Piggott; grandchildren: Kaylee, Kylie and Ashton; his mother, Carol Neel; brothers: Lou (Donna) of Illinois; Alan Neel from Illinois, Mark (Kim) Neel of Arizona; and a sister, Debbie (Les) Gable of Florida. He was preceded in death by his father, Bernie Neel.

Services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 at the American Legion on PP Hwy. Potluck will follow.

Roy Parish

Roy Lee Pparish-obitarish, 92, of Neelyville, MO, died on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff. He was born on November 22, 1924 to Hiram and Rena Pearl (Huffstutler) Parish in rural Greene County, Arkansas. On September 30, 1944, he married Leonia Parthenia Vangilder in Piggott, AR. Roy was no stranger to hard work and held multiple jobs through the years.  He served in the U.S. Army and had been employed by Imperial Oil Company, insurance companies and the U.S. Forest Service.  He also pursued a variety of business interests throughout his life including farming, commercial hay baling and combining, owning laundromats in Neelyville and Naylor, a grocery store and a gas station in Neelyville and a trucking business.  Roy was a member of the Neelyville United Methodist Church and served as the Sunday School Superintendent for many years.  He was a volunteer at the Neelyville Food Pantry for over 15 years.  Roy retired from Ozark National Life Insurance Company.  He enjoyed fishing, yard work, and his family during his retirement. Roy is survived by his loving spouse of 72 years, Parthenia; five children, Donna (Ernie) Phelan of Poplar Bluff, MO, Sharon (Preston) Gill of Naylor, MO, Carol (Gary) Dunlap of Salem, MO, Jerry (Rita) Parish of Corning, AR, and Gary (Debra) Parish of Neelyville, MO; one sister, Lorena Priest of Ratcliff, KY; 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff.  Funeral Services will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Bill Hatch officiating.  Burial will be at the Naylor Cemetery in Naylor, MO.  

Jim Spain

Jim Spain,spain 82, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at his residence. He was born on December 15, 1934 to Earl and Wilma (Waters) Spain in Clarksville, TX.  Jim graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1955, where he lettered in track two years.  He obtained his law degree from The University of Missouri in 1960. While in Law School, Jim was a member of the Missouri Law Review. He also served two years in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska.  Jim married JoAnne Prather on February 11, 1956 in Cape Girardeau, MO and they were married for 60 years until her death on October 15, 2016. Jim practiced law in Bloomfield and Poplar Bluff for over fifty years. During his distinguished legal career, Jim served as a member of the Board of Governors of the Missouri Bar, Missouri Bar Foundation, Missouri Supreme Court Advisory Committee, and as an appointed member of the Missouri Ethics Commission. He also served as chair of an appointed committee that reviewed proposed changes to the Rules of Professional Conduct. Jim was also awarded the great honor of induction as a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers. He also served in the Missouri State Legislature for six years and as Chairman of the Democratic State Committee for two years. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching and attending Mizzou football and basketball games, Raider games, and other local sporting events.  Jim passed on his love for Mizzou athletics to his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed traveling with JoAnne and spending time on Current River with his kids and grandkids. However, his most revered “hobby” was practicing law and talking about the law. Jim is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Spain (Mike Hagens) of Kansas City, MO, Melinda Hanaway of Leawood, KS; one son, Sam (Jody) Spain of Poplar Bluff, MO; four grandchildren, Logan Hanaway, Grant Hanaway, Nick Spain, and Marley Spain; one sister, Sue Ryan, of San Antonio, TX.  He also came to love four special caregivers: Shelia Loyd, Gladys Drake, Pat Kinney, and Remona Byrd. He was fortunate to be cared for by his longtime friend, Dr. Kenneth Li. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Vernon Spain, and one son-in-law, Tom Hanaway. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 1:00 until 2:30 PM at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following the visitation at 2:30 PM in the chapel. A private family burial will be held. Joan Banks Lalawsonwson, 84, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born on March 9, 1932 to Clay and Della (Morse) Banks in Chaonia, MO. She graduated from Poplar Bluff High School in 1950. She married John Lawson in Piggott, AR on September 2, 1950.  He preceded her in death on February 26, 2008.  Joan retired from Missouri Employment Security in 1994. Joan was an avid sports fan.  She kept up with local, collage, and professional sports; but most of all she enjoyed watching her grandchildren play.  Her favorite pastime was reading and spending time with her family at Current River. Joan is survived by her two children, Tracey (Bob) Mathews of Poplar Bluff, MO and John Del Lawson of Van Buren, MO; five grandchildren, Josh Lawson of Poplar Bluff, MO, Clay (Kirstie) Lawson of Poplar Bluff, MO, Rachel Mathews of Overland Park, KS, Sara (Ben) Brumitt of Poplar Bluff, MO, and McKenzie (Scott) Carroll of Kansas City, MO; five great-grandchildren, Layke Lawson, Peyton and Chase Brumitt, Breck and Lainey Lawson all of Poplar Bluff, MO; and her double cousin, Jane Rushin of St. Charles, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and her daughter-in-law, Deidre Lawson. In lieu of flowers the family recommends donations be sent to the donor’s charity of choice in her name. Robert Ziegler, 69ziegler, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on January 26, 2017 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff. He was born on August 28, 1947 in Chicago, IL.  Robert joined the United States Army in 1968 and served during the Vietnam War.  On January 27, 1968 he married Vickie Page in Genoa, IL. He retired from the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center. Robert enjoyed watching sports, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.  He and his wife are members of The Palace of Praise in Poplar Bluff. Robert is survived by his loving spouse of 49 years, Vickie; three sons, Johnny (Teresa) Ziegler of Greenville, MO, Gregory (Rebecca) Ziegler of Poplar Bluff, MO, and Robby (Angela) Ziegler of Greenville, MO; eight grandchildren, Cara (Brandon) Jolly of Doniphan, MO, John Ziegler of Ellsinore, MO, Austin (Holly) Ziegler of Poplar Bluff, MO, Rowdy (Maranda) Ziegler of Poplar Bluff, MO, Jacob Ziegler of Poplar Bluff, MO, Brenna (Nathan) Henson of Piedmont, MO, Kailin Ziegler of Greenville, MO, and Darien Mejia of Poplar Bluff, MO; two great-grandchildren, Addilynn and Brayden Jolly; one brother, Mark Congdon of Safford, AZ; and his dog, Ziggy. Visitation will be held Monday, January 30, 2017 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff. Joan Huckabay, 85, of Phuckabayoplar Bluff, MO passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at her daughter’s residence. She was born on the 4th of July in 1931 to P.L. and Mabel (Rodgers) Hughes in Possum Neck, MS (10 miles East of West, MS). She graduated from Madison-Ridgeland High School in 1949.  Joan was a scholarship basketball player at Hinds Junior College in Raymond, MS.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree (with honors) in Religious Education from Mississippi College in Clinton, MS.  She attained her Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS. Joan retired as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor after 20 years from the State of Mississippi.  After retirement, she had several jobs with multiple occupations to fill her time. She was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church in Acworth, GA.  Throughout her life, she invested herself in the lives of many people, often taking in foster children and caring for the elderly.  Joan was a lifelong member and active volunteer in the Republican Party. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Lela Hughes; one brother, Leo Hughes; and one stillborn son in 1962. Joan is survived by three siblings, Webb (Virginia) Hughes of Southaven, MS, Joy (W.K.) McLendon of Pearl, MS, and Shirley (Leonard) Harper of Oxford, MS; sister-in-law, Jamie Hughes of Madison, MS; step-brother, Willie (Adrian) McHann of Seminary, MS; her three children, Bill (Paula) Slayton of Acworth, GA, Jonathan Huckabay of Chelsea, VT, and Mable Britt of Poplar Bluff, MO; six grandchildren, Allyson Poe of Ridgeland, MS, Mattiesha Britt of Poplar Bluff, MO, Gabbie Slayton of Acworth, GA, Eliza Jayn Huckabay of Montpelier, VT, Will Slayton of Madison, MS, and Kevin Carvotta of Acworth, GA; four great-grandchildren, Rowan, Jaelynn, Bella, and Savanna; and many cherished nieces and nephews. Joan had recently mentioned that she didn't want a funeral or service of any kind.  She cherished all of her family and friends and had special fond memories of everyone.  She wanted those fond memories to be her legacy. Our beloved Nawilliamspoleon Williams, Jr., 61, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on February 2, 2017 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. He was born on March 3, 1955 to Napoleon and Eloise (Scott) Williams in St. Louis, MO. On June 29, 2001, he married Mildred Jones in Poplar Bluff. Napoleon worked at Oakdale Care Center in Poplar Bluff.  He was also the founder and owner of Black Liberation Radio in Decatur, IL.  He was a member of Mt. Sinai Church with Pastor Johnny Williams. Napoleon is survived by his wife, Mildred Jones Williams of Poplar Bluff, MO, five sons, Miracle Williams of Poplar Bluff, MO, Khallid Williams of Poplar Bluff, MO, Napoleon Williams, III of St. Louis, MO, Freedom DeAngelo Williams of Decatur, IL, Jacoby Cunningham of Decatur, IL; four daughters, Atrue Williams of Springfield, IL, She’sa Williams of Poplar Bluff, MO, Unique Williams of Paducah, KY, Ura Precise Angel Williams of Peoria, IL; fourteen grandchildren; six sisters, Charlotte Nelson of St. Louis, MO, Sharon Holt of Poplar Bluff, MO, Andrea Williams of Victorville, CA, Valarie Brown of St. Louis, MO, Terri Williams of St. Louis, MO, Bridget Williams of St. Louis, MO; two brothers, David Williams of St. Louis, MO, Glenn Williams of St. Louis, MO; and a special friend, Regina Lawson of Kansas City, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Freedom Williams; and one sister, Debra Taylor. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Mickey Pollock, 54, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at The Manor in Poplar Bluff. He was born on November 26, 1962 to Charles and Vivian (Stanley) Pollock in St. Louis, MO. Mickey had a love for animals, especially dogs.  He was a member of the NRA and an avid hunter and fisherman. Mickey is survived by his wife, Mary Pollock of Park Hills, MO, one daughter, Mikki Daves and granddaughter, Shelby Daves both of Imperial, MO; his mother, Vivian Pollock and two siblings, Tina (Dennis) Sullivan and Charles Pollock all of Poplar Bluff, MO. He was preceded in death by his father; four siblings, Butch Pollock, Deborah Hooper, Connie Pollock, and Vivian Inman; and his beloved dog, Scooter. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 5-6:00 pm at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff, MO. A Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 pm in the Moore Funeral Service Chapel.
