Sue Messer

Sue Messer, 81, passed away on August 1, 2016, at Westwood Hills Nursing Home in Poplar Bluff, MO. Sue was born on March 22, 1935 to James and Hazel Decker in Great Bend, KS. She is survived by three daughters; Donelda Cannoles of Poplar Bluff, MO, Bronalyn (Larry) Reppert of St. Louis, MO, and Virginia (Steve) Usher of Bernville, PA; one son, Mahlon Stutzman of Hutchinson, KS; 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ron (Wanda) Decker of Burrton, KS. She wanted to thank Dorothy Atwell, Barbara Vaughn, Margaret Anderson, and Brenda Parks for a special kind of friendship and she loved you all. Sue was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Messer; two brothers, Darle and Clark Decker; her wonderful son-in-law, Harvey Cannoles;  her beautiful grandson, James Carter; and one great-granddaughter, Shelby Carter.
